Details
BPE Hoof Protect comes in a wind up tube, making application of our farrier wax smooth and simple.
It is formulated with the help of my farrier Des from Redemption Lodge Farrier Service (Mid North Coast NSW), this hoof wax is designed to protect your horses hooves from excess moisture, and to prevent any nasties from entering via the nail holes. It penetrates well into the hoof because of the addition of Coconut oil, and can assist in preventing Thrush and Seedy Toe.
Once the horse has been shod or trimmed, rub the entire hoof with wax, including around the nail holes. This can be repeated as often as necessary. Especially helpful when there is excess water in the environment and your horses hooves are soft.
Always consult your vet and/or farrier for issues related to hooves.
This formula does not replace the need for regular hoof care in anyway.
