This oil is suitable for use on equine manes and tails, and also used sparsely on the coat (keeping in mind oils may cause sunburn).  For best results wash and dry the hair, shake the bottle well and add a little oil to the tail bone area and down the tail and then brush through the tail to assist in detangling and nourishing the hair. If your horses tail is particularly long or thick tail (or even better, has both) you may need to add some additional oil further down the hair as well.
